Fall Admissions Deadline
The deadline to apply for Fall 2017 admissions is May 31, 2017 for Cal State Apply. Our Fall cohort will be on the main campus and PDC starting in September.
Preliminary Administrative Services Credential Program and Masters of Arts Program
In addition to being admitted to the University (Step 1) students must also apply for admission to the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and/or Masters of Arts in Educational Administration Program. Students must complete this step before they can advance to candidacy. Mail the following materials stapled in a set:

The stapled set of materials must include all of the following materials:
A photocopy of your valid California clear teaching, pupil personnel or health services credential or evidence of eligibility for a credential.
Complete a 2-page essay (using 12-pt font Arial or Times New Roman) responding to the following prompts:
- What are important leadership basics and skills and how are you working to acquire them?
- Identify and discuss current challenges facing school leaders in California.
A letter from your District Personnel Office documenting the completion of at least four (4) years of full-time teaching; substitute teaching does not apply to enter the program. As of June 2013 the CTC requires five (5) years of related school experience to apply for the administrative credential.
A photocopy of the notification of your successful completion of the CBEST test.
NOTE: Documentation of a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 ("B") in all courses previously taken in education will be verified by the admissions office from transcripts submitted as part of your admission to the university (Step 1). To be admitted to the program, all students must demonstrate they have already satisfied the upper division writing requirement
