  • Position Description:  APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM, SO APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.
    DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION, REHABILITATION AND COUNSELING, PART-TIME LECTURER POOL. The Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation and Counseling within the College of Education is seeking applications for a pool of part-time lecturers as needed. Possible appointments include University Supervisor/Clinical Supervisor and providing instructions to courses in the master degree programs or teaching and pupil personnel services (PPS) credential programs. Applications are welcomed from candidates with one or more of the following specialties: Counseling and Guidance, School Psychology, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Counseling.   • Required Qualifications / Specialized Skills
    Applicants must have successful teaching experience and a master's degree or higher in Counseling, School Psychology, Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling or closely related disciplines.
    University Supervisor/Clinical Supervisor applicants must hold the applicable California credential (i.e., Education Specialist in Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, or Early Childhood; PPS in Counseling or School Psychology) or licensure (i.e., LPCC or CRC).
    For the Counseling and Guidance Program, minimum requirements are a master's degree in Counseling or closely related field (doctoral degree preferred) and licensure in LPCC, MFT, MSW and/or PPS credential with expertise in counseling and advanced counseling skills.
