To students, staff, faculty, and all supporters of the College of Education, I am honored to be appointed Dean of the College of Education at this critical time in the life and history of our nation and this great institution. It is indeed a privilege to join the eminent scholars and professionals that have built up this college over the years, and I am looking forward to the years ahead with hope and optimism.
for those who are not familiar with our college, the College of Education at California State University in San Bernardino consists of three departments: Teacher Education & Foundations, Special Education, Rehabilitation & Counseling, and Educational Leadership & Technology. The College houses six teaching credentials, 11 master's degree programs and a doctoral program in educational leadership. Several undergraduate and certificate programs are also offered through our College of Education. The College also runs a literacy center that serves the K-12 population in literacy development and reading support services. Apart from the university’s Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation, our college is fully accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, and houses one of the largest teacher credentialing programs in the California State University system. Our doctoral program is run by eminent professors who are scholars in their fields and disciplines.
