698 Extended Enrollment
To Master's Students: Beginning in spring 2005 students will no longer have the option of
registering in 698 (Extended Enrollment) through the College of Extended Learning. All CSUSB graduate students eligible to take 698 (Extended Enrollment) must do so through the regular University starting spring quarter 2005. The change was approved the President's Council and the Administrative Council.
This policy change has come about largely due to concerns
expressed by a number of campus constituencies, including the Graduate Council, faculty who teach graduate students and the International Student Services Office regarding the negative impact of 698 registration through CEL on students' time to degree, faculty workload and compliance with federal regulations.
