Support Provider

Professional Development/Master’s Degree Credit

Are you interested in receiving professional development credits for your experience as a BTSA Support Provider? You can apply to receive up to a total of twelve (12) units of credit from California State University, San Bernardino.

Three separate courses are being offered for Support Providers in the RIMS-BTSA program. The courses are as follows:

Option 1

Year 1: CFASST for Support Providers (Events 1-6), four (4) units of professional development credit that can be used toward salary advancement (with district approval). CFASST participation and completion are the only requirements. Support Providers will need to provide documentation that they have supported a Year 1 BTSA Teacher.

Option 2

Year 2: CFASST for Support Providers (Events 7-12), four (4) units of professional development credit that can be used toward salary advancement (with district approval). CFASST participation and completion are the only requirements. Support Providers will need to provide documentation that they have supported a Year 2 BTSA Teacher.

Option 3

Master’s Level Elective Course, four (4) units can be used toward salary advancement (with district approval) and/or degree applicable requirements in the Master of Arts in Education, Curriculum and Instruction Option at CSUSB. A research paper will be required.
